Sensible Locums offers SWIFT Benefits in order to provide temporary workers with a financially secure working environment.
In an uncertain world where we do not know what is around the corner, and with no source of income for temporary workers who are unable to work we believe the short and long term security every temporary worker should have and receive.
The Accident & Illness Policy contained within the SWIFT Benefits Package will provide you with an income should you be unable to work, up to a maximum of twelve weeks per claim, with no limit to the amount of valid claims per year. Please note that no payment will be made for the first 7 days of an accident or illness. Following this, the amount payable will be 60% of your gross earnings, based on the average of your last four weeks’ earnings, up to a maximum amount of £250 payable each week, minus PAYE deductions and any SSP payments received.
With an Exclusive Private Medical Scheme with discounted monthly premiums for all ages, attractive loan rates, free financial advice, mortgages, pensions and much more, SWIFT is the leading benefits package for temporary workers.
There are three levels to this package and are dependant on the level of service the temporary worker provides:
- Standard - Immediate
- Intermediate - 500 hours continuous service
- Full - 1000 hours continuous service
Many of these benefits are unique to SWIFT and are created specifically for temporary workers.
To obtain the maximum benefits from your package, please contact the dedicated SWIFT Call Centre, always ensure you have your National Insurance number available.
Please remember that you must contact the SWIFT Call Centre within ten days from the day you have your accident at work or become ill.
Before contacting the SWIFT Call Centre, please check that the following applies to you:
- You were working for your agency at the time your illness/accident at work occurred
- You will be off work due to your accident/illness for more than seven days
- You have payslips covering the last four weeks prior to your illness/accident at work
- You have your National Insurance Number to hand
